The New Adventures of Gigantor

In the early 1990s, mankind began its ascension into outer space. Solar energy has replaced nuclear and carbon power, beamed down from massive arrays above Earth. To keep the peace stands Interpol, defending the planet and its energy supply against terrorism. When terrorists seek to take control of the power grid, Interpol resurrects a shelved weapon — Tetsujin 28, the giant robot created by Dr. Kaneda. Through a twist of fate it ends up controlled by his son Shoutarou, who uses it to fight vicious monsters, mad scientists and the cunning Machine Mafia — all while keeping the great steel giant from falling into villainous hands.
