Daigunder

Akira Akebono, a young boy, competes in a robot tournament where many robots can transform into animal forms. Akira wants to win the ultimate prize, the Titan Belt, with the help of his group of robots, all capable of forming into the robot Daigunder — the creation of Akira’s father, Professor Hajime Akebono. Together with a girl named Haruka, they compete as Team Akira. But they face opposition not only from their competition, but from a robot named Ginzan, controlled by the evil Professor Maelstrom.
